2006 graduate of Dover-Eyota High School in Minnesota… Played high school baseball for Head Coach James Dusso… Selected to the All-Conference Team in each of his four years of high school baseball… Also selected All-State during his senior campaign… Participated in the Lions Club All-Star Game in 2006.

Junior College
2008 graduate of Des Moines Area Community College… Played for current Patriot Associate Head Coach Travis Wyckoff and for current DMACC Head Coach Dan Fitzgerald… Named 2nd Team All-Conference in 2007 and 1st Team All-Conference in 2008… Also named to the Midwest All-Region Team during sophomore year… Hit .359 during final year at DMACC with 19 homeruns and 29 stolen bases…Holds team records for single season RBI, career triples, career runs scored and career assists… Help lead team to the 2008 NJCAA Division II World Series in Millington, Tennessee.

Collegiate Summer Baseball
Spent 2008 with the Dodge City A's of the Jayhawk League… Led the league in RBI with 33 while batting .302 for the summer.

2009 Patriots
In first NCAA Division I at-bat on March 18, doubled with the bases loaded to drive in three runs against Louisiana Monroe… Hit first Division I homerun on March 21 against Minnesota as part of a three-hit day… Had two hits and scored a run in a 14-12 win over Louisiana Tech at home… Singled, doubled, and homered twice to collect 7 RBI and lead the Patriots to a 15-10 win over Louisiana Tech the next day… Went 2 for 3 with an RBI to help run-rule Houston Baptist at home, 12-2… Singled twice and drove in another run in Game 3 of the HBU series… Doubled, singled, and scored two runs as part of the 16-3 win over Baylor in Waco… Singled twice and scored two runs in the opening game of the Northeastern series at home… Collected four hits – all singles – and an RBI against Central Arkansas in Conway… Homered, singled twice, and drove in three runs against Northern Colorado on April 24… Picked up three more singles in Game 2 of the UNC series… Had another hit in the final game of the UNC series and also singled against SFA on the road to pick up two RBI and run his hitting streak to a season-long 13 games… Hit a solo homerun in an 11-10 win over Texas A&M on the road… Hit another homerun against Texas Tech at home on May 6… Homered and scored four runs in the first game of the Utah Valley series at home… Doubled, homered, and drove in three runs in a 5-4 win over Utah Valley on May 9… Had two hits, two runs scored, and drove in two in Game 1 against Jacksonville, a 13-1 Patriot win… Had three hits the next day, including a double, to drive in two more runs… Doubled as part of a 3 hit, 1 RBI game on the final day of the season against ORU.
