Connor Smith and I serve as the Vice President and Director of Athletics at Dallas Baptist University.
On behalf of Dallas Baptist University and the Patriot Athletic Department, welcome to DBUPatriots.com, the official site for Patriot Athletics. We hope that you enjoy your time as you navigate through our newly designed website which features news articles, videos, highlights, game updates, statistics, and more on Patriot Athletics.
Patriot Athletics is a multi-divisional institution that currently sponsors one NCAA Division I program (baseball), 14 NCAA Division II programs, and ten competitive club programs. Baseball competes as a member of
Conference USA and our NCAA DII programs compete in the
Lone Star Conference.
The overall mission of the Athletic Department is to provide student-athletes with a Christ-centered championship program through discipleship and leadership development, a quality academic experience, athletic success, and community service. It is our goal to develop Champions in the classroom, Champions on each respective playing surface, and more importantly, Champions for Christ. We are honored and grateful to employee quality Christian coaches and staff members who are determined to serve, challenge, disciple, and mentor our student-athletes. Each coach and staff member is fully committed to the daily pursuit of excellence and working tirelessly to ensure that each of our student-athletes graduate from Dallas Baptist University.

Located in Southwest Dallas and overlooking Mountain Creek Lake, the DBU main campus is well known for its beautiful, rural setting. The physical characteristics of the campus leaves an impression born of an early American Colonial-style architecture nestled within a majestic and varied landscape. DBU’s beauty is inspired by a vision for a distinctly Christian institution of higher education that welcomes all those who come to learn, grow, and be transformed on University Hill.
