The 2019 DBU Patriot XC camp…

Come join us for our FIRST EVER DBU PATRIOT CROSS COUNTRY CAMP! It will offer a unique and personal opportunity for campers of all experiences to grow as a distance athlete. The Patriot XC/TF team is known for their capabilities to develop athletes into national caliber competitors. The Patriot XC Camp will hope to provide a championship-level training opportunity with the incorporation of fun and faith.  We will use a pre-camp inquiry form to create compatible groups based on fitness levels. Each group will be assigned to a camp counselor that will help offer group attention, encouragement, and assistance.

COST:
individual: 165
Team of 6-8: $825 (any additional after 8 will cost an additional 125 per person)

WHEN:
Day Camp from Monday-Thursday
July 29th-August 1st 

TIME:
5-9PM
Campers can start arriving at 4:30.
Ages:
Incoming 7th graders- Incoming Seniors.
**Student- athletes that intend on attending college in the fall of 2019 will not be permitted.

4 days of specific training and instruction
Attention and Coaching from the Patriot XC/TF Coaches
Access to current college athletes (camp counselors)

Workout Session Need to Knows:
Workout Amounts:
Middle school athletes: 3-5 miles a day
High School athletes: 4-10miles a day

Information topics will include training, competition, sleep and nutrition, supplemental training, how to use cross training, injury prevention, racing and training mindset.

We are anticipating very hot afternoons, campers are expected to plan and prepare accordingly. Campers are expected to have proper, safe running gear for the Texas heat (clothes, shoes, towel) etc. 

The camp training is designed for the expressed fitness levels, which you provide before camp.
