Reasons to take Army ROTC with DBU in partnership with the Maverick Battalion at UTA
  • ROTC in college is a leadership elective all about making YOU the best leader you can be. It is a regular college class that teaches leadership and management, requiring no initial military obligation until you are contracted with the army paying $390 a month.
  • ROTC can provide you the opportunity to attend additional summer training, such as Airborne School, Air Assault School, or Mountain Warfare School.
  • ROTC can help you pay for college. Scholarships are based on eligibility criteria and merit (not financial need). The Army ROTC scholarship can pay for 100% of your tuition, all mandatory fees, $1,200 per year for books, and a monthly stipend starting at $420. In addition, all cadets that remain active in the program can receive $1,500 per semester from DBU.
How to Join DBU Army ROTC
