Earned First Team All-American honors and was named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference Player of the Year … Also garnered First Team All-Region honors … Hit .421 for  a team that reached the NJCAA Division II World Series … Led the nation in walks (53), was second in hits (96), runs (80), RBI (88) and total bases (166), and ranked 10th in home runs (16) … Was named to the NJCAA World Series All-Tournament Team after leading Kirkwood to a fifth place finish.
