Made three relief appearances in his first season at DBU … VS. TOP 25 OPPONENTS: Recorded a season-high 4.1 innings out of the pen and allowed just one earned run at No. 13 North Carolina … VS. NON-CONFERENCE: Made his Patriot debut versus South Dakota State (2/16) and worked 1.0 scoreless inning.
 
2019 (SOPHOMORE – SOUTHEASTERN CC)
Earned Second Team All-Region honors … Went 6-6 with a 2.47 ERA in 14 starts … Threw a team-best four complete games … Finished the season with the fifth most strikeouts (110) in the nation … Led the team innings pitched (83.2) … Averaged 11.3 strikeouts per nine innings.

2018 (FRESHMAN – SOUTHEASTERN CC)
Garnered First Team All-American honors and was named the Player of the Year in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference … Also tabbed a First Team All-Region selection and named the Region’s Pitcher of the Year … Went 9-2 with a 1.41 ERA in 12 starts … Finished the year with the second-best ERA in the nation and his 109 strikeouts were third most at the NJCAA Division II level … Also ranked eighth best in the country in strikeouts per nine innings (12.85) … Walked just 12 batters in 76.1 innings.

COLLEGIATE SUMMER LEAGUE
Pitched for the La Crosse Loggers in the Northwoods League in both 2020 and 2018.

Four-year letterman at Prairie du Chien High School ... Played for head coach Mark Pedretti … Named the Conference’s Most Valuable Player as a senior … Was a four-time All-Conference selection during his prep career … Rated the sixth-best left-handed pitcher and the No. 33 overall prospect from the state of Wisconsin by Perfect Game in 2017 … Also a three-time All-Conference selection in basketball and soccer.

Born on August 3, 1998 … His parents are Steve and Judy Sagedahl … His father pitched in the New York Yankees’ minor league system and was the pitching coach at the University of Minnesota, helping the Gophers to a Big 10 title in 1982 … Majoring in Accounting.
