Played in nine games, making six starts in his freshman season … Hit .273, going 6-for-22 at the plate … Hit safely in each of his first six career games … vs. TOP 25 OPPONENTS: Came off the bench to deliver a pinch-hit single against No. 20 Maryland (3/26) … vs. NON-CONFERENCE: Made his first career start and debut against Southeast Missouri (2/20) and delivered an RBI single in a win over the Redhawks … Doubled and scored to help complete a three-game sweep of Sam Houston (2/27) … His RBI double broke a scoreless tie in the fifth inning and produced the game-winning run in a 2-0 victory against Southern Mississippi (3/12).
