2008 graduate of Grapevine Faith High School… Played for Head Coach Steve Ford… High school teammate of fellow Patriot Stephen Phillips… Named to TAPPS All-State Team each year of his high school career… Also a three-time All-State selection in football and four-time All-State selection in track… Named Defensive MVP during his senior year of baseball… Played summer baseball for Dave Acton and the Arlington A's.

Collegiate Summer Baseball
Played for the Dodge City A’s of the Jayhawk League in 2009… Batted .277 with 6 doubles and 2 triples.

2009 Patriots
Started 17 games and saw action in 10 others… Hit .339 with 5 doubles and 1 triple… 5 for 5 in stolen bases… First hit, RBI, and stolen base came in the 5th inning against Binghamton on February 21 in a 15-4 Patriot win… Had two hits and another stolen base in the second game against Siena… Collected two more hits and two more stolen bases the next day… First triple came against Houston Baptist in a 9-6 win at home… Doubled and picked up an RBI as a pinch-hitter against Utah Valley as part of a Patriot victory… Had four singles, an RBI and scored 5 runs on the road against Central Arkansas… Went 4 for 4 with 2 RBI the following game against Northern Colorado… The next day against UNC had two more hits and then singled his first at-bat in Game 3 to cap an 11 for 12 stretch over 3+ games… Had a hit and a stolen base against SFA.

Full name is Landon Aaron Anderson… Son of Lamar and Kelly Anderson… Oldest of four boys: Levi (17), Lucas (16), and Lawton (14)… Christian Studies major… Favorite big league player is Dustin Pedroia… Favorite Bible verses are Hebrew 3:13-14.
