Named a First Team All-Missouri Valley Conference selection after recording a team-high four saves and a 2.93 ERA … Led the staff in appearances (24) for the second straight year … Struck out 47 batters over 40.0 innings of work … Held opponents to a mere .168 batting average which ranks as the second-best mark in DBU’s Division I era dating back to 2004 … His 10.58 strikeouts per nine innings is also 10th-best in the program’s Division I era … VS. TOP 25 OPPONENTS: Earned his first save of the year in a 4.0 inning performance against No. 19 Indiana State (4/23) in which he allowed just one run and struck out four … VS. Led the pitching staff in appearances (10) and posted a 1-0 record with a 1.74 ERA before the season was halted … Struck out 11 batters and walked just four over 10.1 innings … VS. TOP 25 OPPONENTS: Helped lift DBU to a win at No. 13 North Carolina (2/22) after giving up one run in 1.2 innings and striking out two … VS. NON-CONFERENCE: Worked a season-high 2.2 innings and struck out a season-best four batters versus South Dakota State (2/15) … Struck out three batters and held Arkansas State (3/1) scoreless over 1.2 innings … Earned his lone win after shutting out Oral Roberts (3/6) for 1.0 inning out of the pen … Helped lift DBU to a win at Baylor (3/11) after retiring all three batters he faced.

Made 21 appearances, including one start … Posted a 3.95 ERA in 27.1 innings of work … VS. MVC OPPONENTS: Made his third career start at Missouri State (5/4) and allowed one earned run, while striking out three over 2.0 innings … Helped lead DBU to a series win over Indiana State (5/11) after throwing 2.0 shutout frames … Struck out a career-high five batters in 2.1 innings of relief to help lift the Patriots to the MVC regular-season title in a victory over Southern Illinois (5/18) … VS. NON-CONFERENCE: Held Oklahoma State (3/19) scoreless over 2.0 innings and struck out four … Shutout Oklahoma State (4/16) for 2.2 innings in relief … Tossed 2.2 scoreless innings and fanned four at TCU (4/23) … MVC TOURNAMENT: Surrendered one unearned run over 2.1 innings against Indiana State (5/25) … LUBBOCK REGIONAL: Did not allow a run in a season-high 2.2 innings versus Texas Tech in the finals of the Lubbock Regional (6/2).

2018 (FRESHMAN)
Made 13 appearances, including two starts in his first season at DBU … VS. TOP 25 OPPONENTS: Held No. 11 Clemson (2/24) scoreless over 2.0 innings … VS. MVC OPPONENTS: Went a season-high 3.1 innings at Indiana State (4/20), surrendering two runs and striking out three … VS. NON-CONFERENCE: Made his collegiate debut on Opening Day versus Monmouth (2/16) and threw 2.0 shutout innings in relief … Made the first start of his career against Air Force (3/4) and allowed two runs over 3.0 innings while striking out a season-best four.

Pitched for the Texas Twelve Maroon in the Five Tool Collegiate League in 2020 … Spent the summer of 2019 with the Eau Claire Express in the Northwoods League … Pitched for the San Luis Obispo Blue in the California Collegiate League in 2018.

Three-year letterman at Deer Park High School … Played for head coach Chris Rupp … Garnered Honorable Mention All-American honors by Perfect Game and was tabbed a Second Team All-State selection following his senior season … Rated the No. 14 left-handed pitcher and a top 120 prospect in the state of Texas by Perfect Game in 2017 … Ranked among the top 500 seniors nationally by Perfect Game ... Also recognized by Perfect Game on the Texas All-Region Second Team in 2017 … Named the District MVP as a senior after helping lead Deer Park to a Class 6A State title in 2017 … Was a two-time All-Houston Team selection and also garnered First Team All-District honors twice during his prep career … Went 10-2 and struck out 84 batters in 72 innings as a junior for a team that went 37-3 and was ranked No. 1 in the nation late in the season … His 0.48 ERA in 2016 was the eighth best among 6A pitchers in the state of Texas … Competed for Houston C2 Select in the summers.
