Dallas Baptist University Athletics

Brandon Curran is entering his 10th season as the Associate Head Coach for Men’s Basketball at Dallas Baptist University and his 18th year as a college basketball coach.  He has experience as a head coach and athletic director as well as an assistant coach at the junior college, NCAA Division 1 and NCAA Division 2 levels. 
 
Prior to coming to DBU in Fall of 2006, Curran served as the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana, for the 2006 season, and was the Head Men’s Basketball Coach and Athletic Director at Jacksonville College in Jacksonville, Texas, from 2002 through 2005.  Coach Curran began his collegiate coaching career as the Men’s Assistant Basketball Coach at Jacksonville College from 1998 through 2001.
 
Curran earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1997 and a Master’s in Business Administration at Dallas Baptist University in 2008.  While at the University of Texas, he served as a student assistant for the 1997 men’s basketball team that advanced to the “Sweet Sixteen” of the NCAA Tournament.
 
Brandon and his wife Jennifer live in Midlothian where they attend Stonegate Church and serve as Home Group Leaders.   He has three children, Emma (14), Quinn (3) and Greyson (2).
