Clayton Stockett is in his tenth year at Dallas Baptist University as the Assistant Athletic Trainer and works primarily with the Men’s Basketball team. Stockett also works with the Men's and Women's Golf teams.
Before returning to DBU, Stockett spent three years at Oklahoma Baptist University. While at OBU, Stockett gained work experience covering a variety of sports, including Volleyball, Women’s Basketball, and Lacrosse.
Stockett is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), Southwest Athletic Trainers’ Association (SWATA), and the Texas State Athletic Trainers Association (TSATA). He also has certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), and is a certified L-1 Dry Needling provider through Structure & Function.
Stockett graduated from Union University in 2008, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. In 2011, he graduated from DBU with a Masters of Education in Kinesiology and was the graduate assistant athletic trainer for the men’s basketball team.
Stockett and his wife, Jennifer, and daughters, Caroline and Stella, live in Midlothian, Texas, with their dog Baxter and are members of Stonegate Church in Midlothian.
