James Erger is entering his first season as the Graduate Assistant coach for the Dallas Baptist Patriots.
Erger graduated from Bowling Green State University in August, 2013 and played basketball for the Falcons all four years. He graduated as a Sport Management major and minor in Entrepreneurship. During his time at Bowling Green, he also was a leader in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes program.
Erger is from McKinney, Texas, and attended Princeton High School. While at Princeton, he played basketball for four seasons for his father, Robert Erger.
Erger recently married his wife Sam, who played volleyball at Bowling Green State and is now the head volleyball coach at Hill College in Hillsboro, Texas. Erger is currently pursuing a master’s degree at DBU in Church Leadership.
