Remy Ndiaye

Remy Ndiaye enters his second season as a Graduate Student Assistant at Dallas Baptist University, following a standout playing career at DBU.  During his time as a Patriot from 2012-2014, Ndiaye scored over 400 points and grabbed 316 rebounds.  An imposing force in the paint, Remy blocked 27 shots during the 2013-2014 season, a mark that currently ranks third best all-time in school history.

Following his graduation from DBU in August of 2014, Ndiaye worked in Rwanda for NBA Africa and the Shooting Touch program.  During his 10-month stay in Rwanda, Remy helped kids to develop their skills on the basketball court, taught health education classes, and also led Bible studies. 

A native of Dakar, Senegal, Ndiaye came to the United States as a part of the Sports for Education and Economic Development (SEEDS) program.  During his prep career, Remy played for two seasons in high school at Lake Forest Academy in in Lake Forest, Illinois.  He also played on the Senegal National Team that competed in the Nike Global Challenge in Portland, Oregon.

Prior to coming to Dallas Baptist, Ndiaye played his freshman season at Palm Beach State College and also played for one year at Northern Oklahoma College. 

Ndiaye earned his degree from DBU in Interdisciplinary studies with a minor in Kinesiology and is currently working on a Master’s in Sports Management.  Ndiaye attends Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church.
