    Graduate Assistant Athletic Performance Coach
Gage Taylor joined DBU’s Athletic Performance staff in August 2024 as a graduate assistant coach. Coach Taylor works with hockey, men’s soccer, men’s golf, dance, and assists with basketball.

Before joining DBU, Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotions from Barton College, where he also competed as a Division II running back. Taylor also interned with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the summer of 2023, where he worked with quarterbacks and skill players. During his time at Barton, he had the opportunity to work with all 24 sports. This gave coach Taylor experience with a large variety of athletes. In the summer of 2025, coach Taylor worked for Performance Course. At Performance Course, he worked with Crandall County athletes ranging from 6th through 12th graders.

Taylor is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS), Precision Nutrition Level 1 (PN1-NC), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and the American Heart Association (CPR & First Aid).
