Jason Eslinger

Jason Eslinger is in his second season as an assistant coach for DBU’s men’s and women’s golf programs, bringing an elite-level competitive résumé and specialized performance expertise to the Patriots beginning in 2026. After more than eight years in the professional long drive arena, Eslinger transitions from competitor to coach with a passion for developing players at every stage of their game. He is certified through the Titleist Performance Institute, the gold standard in golf-specific mobility, biomechanics, and strength training.

Eslinger was one of the top-ranked professional long drivers for more than eight years, qualifying for the World Long Drive Championship in each of his eight seasons on the World Long Drive Tour. He launched drives measuring up to 468 yards, captured 10 event victories nationwide, and finished as high as fourth place at the World Long Drive Championship. In his first two seasons, he led the circuit in earnings, establishing himself as one of the most consistent and dominant competitors in the field.

Prior to his professional career, Eslinger competed at the collegiate level, beginning with two seasons at Dodge City Community College, where he earned NJCAA All-Conference honors. He then completed his undergraduate studies at Oklahoma State University.

Eslinger made an immediate impact in his first collegiate coaching appearance, helping guide DBU’s men’s team to a 16-stroke victory at the Houston Classic, the program’s first tournament win since 2024.

Eslinger holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Oklahoma State University. He and his wife, Whitney, have been married for 12 years and are the proud parents of two daughters, Karsten and Sutton.
