Fernando Morales Lisboa is in his second season as the Graduate Assistant Coach for the DBU Men's Soccer program. In his first year as part of Jess Jobe’s staff, the Patriots posted a five-win season, the most victories for a DBU team since 2017 and saw four players garner All-Lone Star Conference honors.
Prior to joining the Patriots, Lisboa played collegiate soccer at Hastings College. While at Hastings College, Lisboa’s soccer resume includes being a National Runner-Up in the fall of 2019, winning two conference titles in 2018 and 2019, as well as being named team captain. In the 2019 season, he also earned honors such as NAIA All-American, GPAC Defensive Player of The Year, and First Team All-Conference.
Lisboa also played for Memphis City FC and Virginia Beach City FC in the National Premier Soccer League in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
A native of Piracicaba, Brazil, Lisboa graduated from Hastings with his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and Recreational Facilities Management, as well as a minor in Strength and Conditioning. He is currently pursuing a Master’s of Science in Kinesiology from DBU.
Lisboa currently holds both his USSF “D” License, as well as his USC Goalkeeping Level I Diploma.
