Simon Wieschemann

Simon Wieschemann is in his first season as the Graduate Assistant Coach for the DBU Men's Soccer program. Prior to joining the Patriots, Wieschemann played collegiate soccer at Mid-America Christian University. As a four-year captain, Wiescheman helped MACU reach new heights including a No.1 national ranking at the NAIA level. During his collegiate career, MACU won three SAC conference titles, participated in multiple NAIA national tournaments, and won the NCCAA National Tournament title in 2019. Wieschemann also collected multiple All-American, All-Conference-, and All-Tournament recognition during his playing career.

Wieschemann has always coached during his active playing days, and following his last year of collegiate soccer, he moved to Cairo, Egypt, to be the director of a local soccer academy. In the spring of 2023, he spent some time in Spain with a soccer player's agency, and in the summer of 2023, he completed his first season as the head coach of NPSL site Torch FC.

A native of Frankfurt, Germany, Wieschemann graduated from MACU with a Bachelor’s in Sports Management, as well as a Master's in Business Administration. He is currently pursuing a Master’s of Science in Kinesiology from DBU.
