Competed in six events during 2023 outdoor season ... Ran in the 800 and 1500 meters ... Set a season-best mark of 1:54.73 in the 800 meters at the Victor Lopez Classic ... Set a PR in the 1500 meters by running a 4:06.33 to finish in 5th place at the Houston Kirk Baptiste Spring Break Invitational.
2023 INDOOR (FRESHMAN - HOUSTON)
Competed in five events during 2023 indoor season ... Ran in the 800 meters, one mile run, and the 4x400 relays ... Set a PR in the 800 meters by running a 1:54.65 at the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships to finish in 9th place ... Also set a PR in the one mile run by running a 4:26.39 at the Robert Platt Invitational ... Was part of the Houston 4x400 relay team that finished in 6th place at the Houston Invitational.
