Randi Pennixis entering her third season as the Patriettes’ Head Coach. Under her leadership, the DBU Patriettes and Cheer team have made program history competing together in the Game Day division and winning back-to-back DII National Championships.
Recently married, Randi is enjoying this exciting new season of life alongside her husband, while continuing to pour into her passion for developing and leading young women. A native of Elko, Nevada, she brings with her over 23 years of dance training and experience.
After moving to Dallas in 2015, she coached the Southern Methodist University Pom team for two seasons, leading them to win a first-place Gold Bid at NDA camp. She also danced for and captained the Allen Americans Ice Angels. Prior to that, she danced for the nationally ranked Idaho State University Bengal Dancers before transferring to UNLV.
Randi spent countless hours in the studio growing up, attending numerous conventions and camps. She was named Best All-Around Dancer at IDAA summer camp in Twin Falls, Idaho, and was invited to apprentice with Ballet Idaho.
In 2013, she served as Associate Director of High School Ministry at Central Christian Church in Las Vegas, where she helped restructure and rebuild the student ministry while mentoring high school students.
Randi was crowned Miss Nevada 2012 and used her platform, “Preventing Youth Violence and Bullying,” to advocate across the state before competing in the 2013 Miss America Pageant.
She holds a BA in Journalism and Media Studies with a minor in Entertainment Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. With a strong background in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, and Leadership Coaching, Randi brings a unique blend of skills to the Patriettes' program.
In addition to coaching, Randi is a licensed Realtor who has been serving buyers and sellers since 2019. She has been recognized as a Top Realtor by D Magazine and The Advocate.
