Jodi Calloway is in her second season as a Student Assistant Coach for the Women’s Soccer Team. Calloway came to Dallas Baptist from LSU after earning her Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration with a Minor in Coaching Education.
While at LSU, Jodi was a standout for the Tigers’ Women’s Soccer Team. During her playing career, she was named to the 2011 SEC All-Freshman team and was tabbed to both the Soccer America Women’s National Team of the Week and was an SEC Defensive Player of the Week selection. As a freshman, Calloway helped lead LSU to the SEC West championship and a ticket to the NCAA Tournament.
Calloway is originally from Dallas, Texas, and graduated from Denton Guyer High School. During her prep career, she was one of the most decorated players in the state and was considered to be one of the nation’s premier center midfielders for the Class of 2010. Jodi was also a three-year member of the Region III Olympic Development Program Team from 2006-08.
Calloway is currently earning her Masters of Education degree in Kinesiology. She also coaches in the North Texas State ODP program.
