Dallas Baptist University Athletics

Courtney Pinson is in her ninth year at Dallas Baptist University and serves as the Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine. Pinson spent previous years as DBU’s Head Women's Athletic Trainer and serves as the Senior Woman Administrator for Patriot Athletics.

Pinson graduated from DBU in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. In 2017, she received a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. While in Lubbock, she gained sports medicine experience working with high schools, NCAA Division I and II collegiate athletics, professional/Olympic athletes, and special populations within clinical outpatient settings.

Pinson is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). She obtains certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES). She obtained her M1 Graston Technique certification, is a certified L-1 Dry Needling provider through Structure & Function, and earned her Precision Nutrition Level-1 certification.
  
Courtney, her husband, and daughter reside in Mansfield, Texas, and are members of Creekwood Church.
