Dallas Baptist University Athletics

Hannah Smith is in her first year as a Graduate Assistant for the cross country and track team at Dallas Baptist University. She is originally from Dripping Springs, Texas, where she graduated high school in 2016. 

Smith came to DBU in the Fall of 2016 to begin her undergraduate program, studying Elementary Education, while competing on the university’s track and cross country teams. 

During her years of competition at DBU, Hannah was a member of two NCAA National Qualifying Cross Country teams in 2017 and 2018, as well as a member of the 2016 team, winning the NCCAA National Cross Country Meet. She competed on three Hartland Conference Champion teams in 2016, 2017, and 2018, winning the Individual  Conference Champion title in 2017.  

As she serves as a Graduate Student Assistant Coach, Smith will be pursuing her Masters in Reading Instruction and English as a Second Language. Hannah and her husband, Riley attend Northway Church in Dallas.
