Cameron Hartson is entering her first year as a Student Assistant Coach for the Dallas Baptist Volleyball team. Hartson was born and raised in Midlothian, Texas and attended Midlothian High School where she was involved in Basketball, Volleyball, and Track.
As a four year starter on the DBU Volleyball team, Hartson earned numerous accolades as a senior in 2013 including, NCAA Div. II AVCA All-American Honorable Mention Libero and NCAA Div. II Daktronics All-American Third Team Libero, making her the first player in the history of DBU Volleyball to earn All-American honors.
Hartson was also tabbed NCAA Div. II AVCA All-Region First Team Libero, NCAA Div. II Daktronics All-Region First Team Libero, Heartland All-Conference Libero of the Year, First Team All-Heartland Conference, and was a three-time recipient of the Heartland Conference’s Libero of the Week her senior season.
Prior to her senior year, Hartson was twice named the Heartland Conference’s Libero of the Week, NCCAA All-Region Volleyball Team, as well as NCCAA Scholar-Team Award.
Hartson graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. She is currently pursuing her Masters in the M.Ed. in Kinesiology program at Dallas Baptist University. Cameron currently resides in Dallas and attends Crossroads of Life Church-Duncanville.
