A native of Wichita, Kan., Heather Norcilus spent her collegiate career at two Kansas-based institutions, beginning at Sterling College and finishing at Tabor College. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Tabor in 2009, earning All-Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference honors in 2008 and Academic All-Conference accolades in both 2007 and 2008.

After graduation, Norcilus trained in Xenia, Ohio, with Athletes in Action and spent two weeks traveling throughout Sao Paulo, Brazil, playing local club and city teams while running volleyball clinics. Norcilus also helped lead volleyball clinics in Istanbul Turkey, Haiti, and India.

In the off seasons and summers, she has coached numerous clinics including the Delta Region High Performance Camp, the Heart of Champion Camp, the World Impact Camp, FCAV Camps, and The College Bound Coaches Network Camp. Norcilus has also coached club volleyball with Ozark Juniors & Texas Image.

Norcilus, who holds a USA Volleyball IMPACT certification, began her coaching career when she served as the assistant coach of the Wichita (Kan.) Defenders for two seasons. Before moving to Texas, Norcilus was an assistant coach for three years at John Brown University, located in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. 
 
She enters her third season with the Lady Patriots pursuing her MBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurship.

Heather and her husband, Precois, currently resides in Euless, Texas.
