Hollann Hans is in her first year as an Assistant Coach for the DBU Volleyball team. Hans was a two-time All-American at Texas A&M and joins the Lady Patriots after recently serving as a volleyball coach at College Station High School and served as the head coach for Houston Skyline BCS 18's top team. Hans also started her own volleyball training business, the Hollan Hans Volleyball Training in College Station, where she provided high-level volleyball training to athletes in the South Texas area and developed volleyball athletes through leading various bible studies in the South Texas area.

During four seasons as an outside hitter at Texas A&M from 2016-2019, Hans established herself as one of the top performers in the Southeastern Conference and the nation. As a freshman, she was named the AVCA All-South Region Freshman of the Year and was selected to the SEC All-Freshman Team. After leading the team in kills as a sophomore, Hans became the first player in school history to garner AVCA South Region Player of the Year honors as a junior in 2018. That year, Hans ranked fourth in the nation and second in the SEC with an all-time school record of 64 total aces. In her final collegiate season, Hans led the SEC in aces per set, points, service aces, and total kills to earn Second Team All-America honors.

"What excites me most about Hollann is both her passion for discipling young women and helping them reach their full volleyball potential as an athlete," DBU head volleyball coach Jordan Fish said. "She is a hard worker and brings high-level college volleyball playing experience and knowledge of the game that will help continue to take our program to the next level."

Hans joins a Patriot coaching staff that helped guide DBU to their first-ever Lone Star Conference regular season title and a trip to the NCAA postseason for the second consecutive year, where they reached the semifinals of the South Central Regional.
