Reagan Ratcliff is in his 12th year with Patriot Athletics and serves as DBU's Associate Athletic Director for Media Relations. In addition to his media responsibilities for the Patriots’ 14 NCAA programs, Ratcliff begins his 14th season broadcasting DBU Baseball and Basketball on the Patriot Broadcasting Network and is also the voice of DBU Men's and Women's Soccer on the PBN.

Since joining the Patriot Athletics staff in 2013, Ratcliff has worked alongside the University's Communications department to develop the video production of DBU Athletics on the Patriot Broadcasting Network. In 2024, coverage of DBU Baseball transitioned to ESPN+, where the broadcast team of Ratcliff and Brendan Smith continued their on-air work together to bring Patriot Baseball to a nationwide audience. During their 13 seasons on the air, Ratcliff and Smith have been on the call for 11 NCAA Regionals, including the Patriots' run to the 2021 Columbia Super Regional.

Before arriving at DBU, Ratcliff was a coach and teacher at the high school level. He began coaching at Duncanville High School, where he coached football and track from 2005-2009. Following his four years at Duncanville, Ratcliff went on to coach four seasons at Joshua High School. While at Joshua, he spent two years as the football team's defensive coordinator and also served as the school's head powerlifting coach. Along with his role in coaching, Ratcliff was instrumental in starting the Fellowship of Christian Athletes program at Joshua High School. In 2011, he received the Jim Wacker Award as the Greater Fort Worth FCA Coach of the Year.

Prior to his coaching career, Ratcliff worked in various positions in sports broadcasting. In 1999, he was the Director of Broadcasting for the Southern Oregon Timberjacks, a Short Season A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. In 2000, Ratcliff helped start the Nauticom Sports Network in Texas. During his time with Nauticom, he developed a network of radio stations broadcasting high school sports online. Following his time with Nauticom, Ratcliff returned to his alma mater to broadcast Baylor Bears' baseball for two seasons on the Baylor Radio Network.

Along with his role at DBU, Ratcliff also broadcasts high school football on Champion Sports Radio and Dave Campbell's Texan Live. In both 2022 and 2023, Ratcliff was on the call for the Duncanville Panthers’ run to the Class 6A state championship and finished each of the last two years ranked nationally in USA Today's Top 10. In 10 seasons on the air with Champion Sports Radio, he has also called football games for Grapevine High School and Plano West High School.

Ratcliff is a member of the College Sports Information Directors Association (CoSIDA) and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA). He is also an adjunct professor in the Dallas Baptist University College of Education.

Ratcliff graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications in 1998 and earned his Master of Education in Kinesiology at Dallas Baptist University.

Ratcliff and his wife Christina have two children, Jake and Landrey. The Ratcliffs reside in Fort Worth and attend University Baptist Church, where he serves as a deacon.
