The Dallas Baptist Patriot Baseball Team was held scoreless in Norman, Oklahoma, on Tuesday evening, as they fell to the Oklahoma Sooners, 14-0. The loss marks the first time this season the Patriots have been shutout, and drops them to 23-17 on the season.

Aaron Gilbreath was dealt the loss for the Patriots as he went three innings, allowing five runs on three hits, and striking out four.
After holding the Patriots scoreless in the top of the first, the Sooners used a bases loaded double and a two run homerun to score five runs in the bottom of the inning for an early 5-0 lead. Four hits in the fifth allowed Oklahoma to tack on six more runs making it an 11-0 game, and a three run sixth capped off the 14-0 victory for the Sooners.
DBU stranded a total of 12 runners on base for the night, as a strong outing by the Sooner pitching staff limited the Patriots to only eight hits. Senior

The Patriots will return to the field on Thursday, April 29, as they travel to California, for a three game road series against Fresno State University. The first pitch is slated for 8:05 p.m. Central Time.
