The Dallas Baptist University Patriot Baseball Team dropped their second straight game to Texas A&M University on Friday night in College Station, Texas. The Aggies defeated the Patriots by the score of 4-2. With the loss, the Patriots fall to 24-22 on the year.

Brandon Williamson picked up the loss of Friday to move to 6-4 on the season as he gave up four runs on nine hits through seven innings. Junior
Jared Stafford added one scoreless inning in relief for DBU in the loss giving up no hits.
The Aggies took an early lead on the Patriots as they scored a single run in the first before adding three more runs in the third inning leaving the score 4-0.
As the Aggies offense slowed, Freshman
Austin Elkins blasted a solo homerun in the top of the fourth inning, his eighth of the year, to end the Patriots scoring drought.
DBU added one more run in the fifth inning as an RBI groundout by Junior
Tyler Robbins pushed Junior
Chris Haney across the plate. Haney reached on a single, and then advanced to third on a Senior
Austin Knight double before scoring.
John Stilson stepped on the mound for the Aggies in the seventh inning and picked up the save as he only allowed one hit from the Patriots through two and two thirds innings to give Texas A&M the victory, 4-2.
The Patriots are scheduled to close out their three game series against the Aggies on Saturday afternoon at Olsen Field in College Station, Texas. The first pitch is slated for 2:05 p.m.
