The Dallas Baptist Patriot Basketball Team opened up the first round of the NCCAA Regional Tournament with an 88-69 win over Southwestern Christian College Thursday evening in Oklahoma City.  The win improves DBU to 17-12 on the season.

Senior Braxton Adamson led the way for the Patriots, finishing with 24 points on five-of-nine from behind the three-point line.  Sophomore Nick Fox and Freshman Russ Johnson each chipped in 14 points for DBU, while Junior T.J. Clark added 12 points.

The Patriots are the number one seed in the tournament and will now face Central Christian College tomorrow afternoon at 4:00 p.m. The overall winner of the regional tournament will advance to the NCCAA National Tournament held in Oakland City, Indiana on March 17-19.
