The Dallas Baptist Patriot Baseball Team completed their four-game sweep of the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff with a 9-1 win on Saturday afternoon. The Patriots are now 21-11 overall on the season.
Sophomore
Will Lane picked up the win for Dallas Baptist after pitching five innings, allowing one run on six hits, while striking out six.
Junior
Landon Anderson gave the Patriots a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first with a lead off homerun to left field. Senior
Jason Krizan, who currently leads the nation in doubles, picked up his 21st double two batters later.

Ryan Behmanesh drove in the second run of the night with a RBI double, scoring Senior
Tyler Robbins who reached on a single. Sophomore
Duncan McAlpine picked up the second run of the inning with sacrifice fly to score Behmanesh and give DBU a 3-0 advantage.
UAPB scored their first run of the day in the top of the fifth, but the Patriots responded with three runs in the bottom half of the inning. With runners on second and third, Freshman
KJ Alexander picked up his 20th RBI of the season with a single through the left side. Junior
Kenny Hatcher followed with a base-clearing double, scoring two more runs and giving DBU a 6-1 lead.
The Patriots tacked on another run in the sixth, courtesy of a Behmanesh double that scored Anderson, making it a 7-1 advantage.
Dallas Baptist completed the sweep of the Golden Lions after scoring two more runs in the seventh, leaving the score 9-1.
The Patriots will return to action on April 12 as they travel to Austin, Texas to face the University of Texas. Game time at Disch-Falk Stadium is set for 6:00 p.m.
