GAME SUMMARYThe Dallas Baptist Men's Soccer Team fell 3-1 on Saturday night at Texas A&M International University. DBU (3-9, 0-3) has dropped three contests in a row, including its previous pair to Heartland foes.
The Patriots will try for that elusive first league win on Monday.
Texas A&M International (7-5-1, 3-2) executed a three unanswered points throughout the contest, including two in the second half to secure the victory.
DBU did outshoot the home squad, 10-8, but were unsuccessful at finding the back of the net until sophomore
Riley Alvey recovered control of a loose ball and scored close range. The goal occurred at the 87:35 minute mark, but was not enough for the Patriots to rally.
Senior
David Balyeat produced a team-high three goals, while junior
Brian Robertson and Alvey followed behind him. The duo notched two shots, with Alvey placing one on goal with the forward's, team-leading fifth goal.

Jay Adam Williams.
HIGHLIGHTS Eduardo Gonzalez put TAMIU on the board in the first half, finishing a long cross that set him up for a left side shot. The netter occurred in the ninth minute, as Norman Ramos received credit for the assist.
Even with an early deficit, the visitors would maintain the pace of the game with the Dustdevils, who managed four shots per half. DBU attempted three in the opening frame, and trailed 1-0 at intermission.
At the 63:13 minute mark, Jovany Macias doubled the advantage for TAMIU, and Juan Espinal sealed things at the 84:43 mark. Angel Robles and Tayeb Ahmadi added assists on the respective goals.
The Patriots managed to fire off seven shots, pushing them into the double-digits on that category with the surge. Other than Alvey's attempt reaching the back of the net, DBU could not narrow the gap.

ALVEY MARKING HISTORYAlvey broke a personal season-best on Saturday's lone team score. It was the Hideaway, Texas, native's fifth goal of the campaign, and improves his career-high in the first year with four. Three of his scoring results have occurred away from Patriot Soccer Field. The team is 2-2-1 when the forward hits the back of the net.
