THE RUNDOWN
The Dallas Baptist Volleyball team finish their road trip winless as they fall to the Eastern New Mexico Zias, 3-1. Sidnee Jo Fitzpatrick led DBU with 12 kills and Kaycie Bird had a match high 41 assists.

After a tight start in the first set with the score tied at 7, ENMU would score five of the next seven points to take a, 12-9. The slight separation created by the Zias would be enough to keep DBU playing from behind for the majority of the set. ENMU would claim the first set, 25-22.

The Lady Patriots would trail early as the Zias would create a 5-2 advantage to gain a lead early. With ENMU leading, 8-6 they would go on to score five straight points extending their lead to, 13-6. The Zias would remain in control for the rest of the second set winning, 25-14. 

The third set would begin with another tight start with the two squads. The Lady Patriots would take the lead 8-7, and would add on to that lead by scoring seven straight points extending their advantage to, 15-7. From there DBU would maintain their lead and win the set, 25-14.

In the final set of the afternoon DBU would fight as they had their backs against the wall. The two teams would tie the score at 18, until ENMU would finally finish the set, 25-21.
