THE RUNDOWNThe Dallas Baptist Men's Soccer Team dropped a 3-0 contest to No. 23 St. Edward's University on Saturday night. Both programs were battling in the Heartland Conference opener, but DBU (3-6, 0-1) fell behind an impressive start from the Hilltopper's Andrew Fox.

Fox, who was named Heartland Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, produced a hat trick, including two of his three goals from free kicks, to lift SEU (6-2-1) to a 3-0 advantage in the first 15 minutes.

DBU did manage to settle into a competitive second half, matching the top 25 ranked opponent seven shots each in the final frame. It was too much of a margin for the home squad to overcome.

David Balyeat boasted a team-high six shots, placing two on goal, counting for the team's only pair of attempts to reach the target. Junior
Brian Robertson also claimed a multi-shot outing firing two total.

This will be back-to-back contests featuring a nationally ranked opponent at Patriot Soccer Field. It is the third team ranked in the Top 25 polls DBU has match-up against this year.
