Riley Alvey, DBU couldn't muster enough offense to keep pace, being outshot 20-8 by the nationally ranked opponent.

HIGHLIGHTSAlvey was one of two players to collect multiple shot attempts in the affair. The native of Hideaway, Texas also placed the only shots on goal with a pair, shooting a perfect 100 percent shots on goal. Redshirt sophomore
Landon Lacy was the other player to notch two shots, joining the midfielder in that multi-shot category.

The first half was a back-and-forth battle as the Patriots evened the contest 1-1 at the 13:07 minute mark, just barely over 30 seconds after MSU got on the scoreboard with a goal by Dustin Berg.

A goal by Jack Mayfield at the 38:51 mark put the Roadrunners back up the remainder of the game. MSU (3-0) would tack on two more goals in the final frame to remain undefeated.
