Men's Soccer Falls 1-0 at West Texas A&M

THE RUNDOWN
The Dallas Baptist Men's Soccer Team fell 1-0 to West Texas A&M University on a Thursday night affair. It's the Patriots (2-4) third-straight setback, all coming in the midst of a five-game road trip.
 
West Texas A&M (4-1) benefited from a penalty kick in the 16th minute by Vitor Cardoso. His second goal of the campaign was the difference in DBU's second one-goal loss of the year. The squad moves to 2-2 in such matches this season.
 
Goalkeeper Chuck Schober (0-2) drew his second start of the season, working 90 minutes while allowing the lone score and pulling five saves. The team added a group save to display six on the night.
 
The Buffs fired 16 shot attempts, topping DBU's seven total. Junior Alex Becerra posted a multi-shot game with two, and knocked one of them on goal. Fellow teammate Cameron Gilbert also placed the ball on target once.
 
 Juniors Brian Robertson and Leevi Schwartz, sophomore Riley Alvey, and freshman Michael Andrews took shots in the contest.
