THE LEAD
Dallas Baptist University fell to Lubbock Christian 1-0 on Thursday at Patriot Soccer Field. Tommy Fogarty scored his sixth goal of the season in the 52nd minute to break the 0-0 deadlock.

Both defenses excelled as the Patriots placed one of their 11 shots on goal, and the Chapparals placed three of their 13 shots on goal. Sean Bouland made two saves in the net for DBU.
