THE LEAD
Dallas Baptist University narrowly defeated UT-Permian Basin by a score of 1-0 on Saturday afternoon. In front of a crowd of 172 at Tom Landry Stadium in Addison, Texas, Brooks Friedman scored the game's lone goal in the 80^th minute to lift the Patriots over the Falcons.
 
DBU outshot UTPB 16-6 and 9-2 on goal. Goalkeeper Sean Bouland made his second straight start in the net for the Patriots and earned his first win of the season. Bouland made two saves in the match.
