THE LEAD
Dallas Baptist defeated Oklahoma Christian 1-0 in extra time on Saturday at Eagle Soccer Field in Edmond, Oklahoma, to improve to 2-0 in Heartland Conference play. Senior forward Emilie MacDonald scored on a chip shot past OCU goalkeeper Carina Schanz in the 97^th minute to lift the Patriots over the Eagles.
 
DBU goalie Jenna Ackerly made four saves in the match and recorded her sixth shutout. The Patriots outshot Oklahoma Christian 21-8.
