DBU Fires Off 32 Shots in 0-0 Extra Time Draw

THE LEAD
Dallas Baptist University placed 15 of their 32 shots on goal but could not take the lead in a 0-0 tie with Texas A&M International University on Saturday night. Rebecca Kernen led the Patriots with seven shots and three on goal.

Jenna Ackerly faced just five shots on one shot on goal, thanks to a stingy Patriots defense. TAMIU goalkeeper Chelsea Knaack made 15 saves. DBU ends the regular season with an 11-3-3 record and a 6-0-2 record in the Heartland Conference.
