THE LEADThe Dallas Baptist Men's Basketball Team dropped their fourth consecutive game after falling to the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith 76-62. The loss drops DBU to 14-13 on the season and 8-11 in Heartland Conference play.
Myles Johnson would lead DBU with 16 points on the night, while
Shannon Lilly scored in double figures with 12 points.
The first half of play would see the Patriots playing from behind early on, as the Lions remained in front for at least 18 minutes of the half. DBU would fall to a deficit of up to 16 points during the half and headed into intermission down 39-26.
Despite Johnson and Lilly scoring the bulk of their points in the second half, UAFS would continue their strangle hold on the advantage and go up by as much as 22 points. The Lion's Kenny Martin would have a game high 24 points and 13 rebounds leading UA Fort Smith to victory.
