Box Score THE LEADThe Dallas Baptist Men's Basketball Team fell 81-67 in the NCCAA Central Regional Championship to Colorado Christian on Friday in Paragould, Arkansas. On a night where the Patriots could not find an answer for the Cougars' Michael Brown, who scored a game-high 29 points, DBU fell short of winning their first NCCAA Regional title since 2012.

Facing a Colorado Christian team they had back on November 15 at the RMAC vs. Heartland Conference Shootout in Austin, Texas, the Patriots fell behind by 13 points at the half, trailing 42-35 as they went into the locker room. DBU would keep pace with the Cougars in the second half, but could never close the gap, as Colorado Christian held on for a 14 point win.

Myles Johnson, would poured in a team-high 16 points on 5-of-12 shooting from the field.Â
Amari Bryant was the only other Patriot to score in double-figures, as the redshirt-freshman totaled 10 points.

With the loss, the Patriots will now await the possibility for an at-large bid to the NCCAA National Tournament.Â
