HOME SWEET HOME
Dallas Baptist returns to Patriot Soccer Field after an 0-2 roadtrip in New Mexico against the University of the Southwest and Eastern New Mexico University. After a 2-1 loss to Southwest on September 17, the Patriots looked to get back on track against Eastern New Mexico on September 19. Senior forward Roberto Zatarain gave the Greyhounds an early lead before Riley Alvey scored the equalizer on a penalty kick. Zatarain put another shot past goalkeeper Mason Stringer in the second period of extra time to give ENMU the win. 

DBU won their only game at home earlier this month in a 3-1 victory over Oklahoma Baptist and looks to follow that up against SAGU on Tuesday, September 22. 
 
ALVEY CHASING POINTS RECORD
Riley Alvey's converted penalty kick in last week's 2-1 loss to Eastern New Mexico brought his career points total up to 31. He is four points away from tying David Balyeat's program record of 35 career points. Alvey has 13 career goals and five assists.
 
ALVEY LEADING HEARTLAND
Alvey is currently pacing the Heartland Conference in points (10) with four goals and two assists on the year. Redshirt freshman midfielder Brooks Friedman is ninth in the conference with six points. 
 
SCOUTING THE LIONS
SAGU is coming off of a 3-1 loss to the University of St. Thomas on Saturday, September 19, that dropped their record to 2-3-1. Senior forward Robert Ambrosie is the Lions' leader in goals (3) and assists (2) this season.
