The Patriots capitalized on the red card in the 52nd minute, when senior forward
Lindsey Eccles gathered a rebound off of the crossbar and scored on an empty net to give DBU a 1-0 lead. Sophomore forward
McKenna Namken extended the Patriot lead in the 65th minute when she placed a shot past St. Edward's goalie Lorrie Santoy.

Jenna Ackerly made four saves in the match to preserve the Patriots' lead. DBU improves to 3-3-1 on the season and hands St. Edward's just its second loss of the season.
