KICKOFF
Dallas Baptist will try to rebound from a 1-0 loss to Southwestern Assemblies of God on Tuesday, September 22, at Patriot Soccer Field. Senior forward Robert Ambrosie recorded his team-leading fourth goal of the season on a bicycle kick that sneaked past Patriots' goalkeeper Sean Bouland, who was making his first career start in goal. Bouland finished the match with three saves.

The Patriots took 17 shots and placed six on goal, but could not manage an equlizer. DBU hosts West Texas A&M as part of a doubleheader between the two schools with the men kicking off at 1:00 p.m. and the women at 3:30 p.m.

ALVEY CHASING POINTS RECORD
Riley Alvey's goal in last week's 2-1 loss to the University of the Southwest brought his career points total up to 31. He is four points away from tying David Balyeat's program record of 35 career points. Alvey has 13 career goals and five assists.

Alvey ranks No. 33 in NCAA Division II in points per game (2.0) and goals per game (.833). He also ranks fourth among the Heartland Conference in each of those categories.

SCOUTING THE BUFFS

The high-scoring Buffs have registered 12 different goal scorers and five multi-goal scorers. Senior midfielder Austin Henderson leads WTAMU in both goals (3) and assists (2) in 2015.
