KICK-OFF
The Dallas Baptist University Men's Soccer team lost to No. 8 St. Edward's, 2-0, on Saturday afternoon at Lewis-Chen Family Field in Austin, Texas. Julian Sanchez and Josh Taylor scored their third and fourth goals of the season, respectively, to lead the Hilltoppers to the victory.

Sanchez scored in the 16th minute after collecting a blocked shot and scoring on goalkeeper Sean Bouland. Taylor tacked on the second goal in the 52nd minute, taking the ball down the left side of the field in the box before finding the back of the net. Bouland made one save in the match.
 
DBU looks to snap a four-game skid against Eastern New Mexico at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at Al Whitehead Field at Greyhound Stadium in Portales, New Mexico.
 
PATRIOT STORYLINES
 - Sean Bouland is fourth in the Heartland Conference in saves per game in conference play  (5.29).

 - Riley Alvey leads the conference in gamewinning goals (3).
 
 - Brandon O'Donovan is seeking his first goal of the season, despite leading the Patriots in shots (18) and shots on goal (8).
 
 - Alvey is just four points shy of 50 career points at DBU.
 
SCOUTING EASTERN NEW MEXICO
After a 1-3 start to Heartland Conference play, the Greyhounds have responded with a four-game unbeaten streak at home, improving their record to 4-5-3. ENMU has only one multi-goal scorer this season and 12 different goal scorers in as many matches.
 
In 11 starts, goalkeeper James Gutierrez has allowed 15 goals, made 53 saves and recorded three shutouts. Gutierrez has made 24 saves and allowed just three goals in the Greyhounds' four-game unbeaten streak.
 
SERIES HISTORY
DBU has lost all three meetings with Eastern New Mexico, with the last coming last September in Portales. Riley Alvey scored his fifth goal of the season on a penalty kick in the 69^th minute to level the match at 1-1. In the 103^rd minute, Roberto Zatarain found the back of the net for the second time in the match to claim the victory.
