The Dallas Baptist University Women's Soccer team lost to No. 15 St. Edward's, 2-0, on Saturday afternoon at Lewis Chen Family Field in Austin, Texas. The loss snapped a six-game win streak by the Patriots that vaulted them into the top-25.
Libby Fish netted the first goal for the Hilltoppers off a Sabrina Cone corner kick in the 14th minute, and Gracen Jacks tacked on the second goal in the 75th minute after Jennifer Boudreau's shot was deflected by goalkeeper
Hope Koym. Koym made seven saves in the match.

The Patriots look to bounce back from just their second conference loss against Rogers State at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at Patriot Soccer Field in Dallas, Texas.

  - DBU ranks second in the Heartland Conference in goals allowed in conference play (6).

SCOUTING ROGERS STATE
The Hillcats have lost four straight Heartland Conference matches by a combined score of 12-0, and the only goal in the past five matches was scored by Rogers State's leading goal-scorer Marlaina Trahant. The sophomore has three goals on the season.

Tayler Stover has struggled in goal for the Hillcats, allowing more than 1.5 goals per game this season. However, Stover has posted double-digit save performances in four of her last six starts. She has 84 total saves on the year.

SERIES HISTORY
DBU picked up its fourth win in as many meetings with Rogers State earlier this season in Claremore, Oklahoma, by a score of 1-0.
