THE LEAD
The Dallas Baptist University Women's Soccer team lost to No. 24 Texas A&M-Commerce, 2-0, on Monday night at Patriot Soccer Field in Dallas, Texas. Sophie Haywood and Kasey Sorbers each recorded a goal in the match to fuel the Lions' offense.
Commerce earned a corner kick in the 14th minute, which Sophie Hayood managed to curve into the near corner of the net, past goalkeeper 
Hope Koym. The Lions tacked on a second goal in the 75th minute after Vicky Back's free kick richocheted off the crossbar in front of Kasey Sorbers, who easily put it past 
Hope Koym from point-blank range.
