The Dallas Baptist University Women's Soccer team tied with Lubbock Christian University, 1-1, on Thursday afternoon at LCU Soccer Field in Lubbock, Texas. After the two schools exchanged first-half goals, the Patriots and Chaps held each other scoreless over the final 65 minutes of the match.

Haley Knesek, the Heartland Conference leader in points, goals and assists, scored in the 43
rd minute to give LCU a short-lived lead. Just 19 seconds later,
Leah Draper found the back of the net for the first time this season to level the score at 1-1.

Hope Koym and the DBU defense were forced to face an array of shots, but Koym allowed just the one goal and made a career-high 13 saves. Sarah Palmer made four saves for the Chaps.
