THE LEAD
The Burg Center was rocking tonight as the Lady Patriots. DBU earned their first win-streak of the season and helped Coach Kokel reach a monumental 200 career wins with a 3-0 victory of St. Mary's. This is quiet the feat for DBU's leader Coach Kokel as she looks forward to adding to that tally with the Lady Patriots. DBU was lead by Freshman
Strealy Sizelove who led the team with 9 digs along with Laruen Nicks, and Sizelove also shared the team lead with 14 assists. DBU also received great performances from
Hannah Hester and
Sidnee Jo Fitzpatrick. Hester also 14 contributed assists and notched 4 great aces. Fitzpatrick led the team with 12 kills.

St. Mary's started out the first set with a tough 5-score run that gave them a 7-3 lead. The Lady Patriots steadily kept clawing their way back into the game as DBU was finally able to steal the lead with a 4-0 run to give them a 21-22 edge. The Lady Patriots resilience awarded them a 23-25 win.

The second set was a mirror image of the first set. StMU scored 6 straight points to start the set giving them a 7-2 early lead. DBU put a few runs together and grinded their way back into the game as they tied it up 15-15. The Lady Patriots outlasted St. Mary's to the finish to get them a 22-25 victory.

DBU came into the third set hyped and ready to put StMU away. The Lady Patriots held the lead after a 15-15 tied score by go on a 10-3 run to earn them the set and match victory 18-25.
