THE LEADDBU defeated Lipscomb 6-5 in the second game of the weekend series on Saturday at Horner Ballpark. Shortstop
Camden Duzenack went 1-for-3 with two runs scored, including the go-ahead run in the Patriots three-run eighth inning.

Sean Stutzman (3-1) earned the win for DBU after throwing two innings of relief for starting pitcher
Darick Hall, who struck out seven in six innings of work. Kyle Kemp (0-1) suffered the loss for the Bisons after allowing Duzenack to cross the plate on a throwing error in the eighth inning.
Seth Elledge (7) picked up the save with a 1-2-3 ninth inning.

Hall got out to a strong start, striking out the side in the top of the first inning. Lipscomb starter Jeffrey Passantino matched Hall through the first three innings with five strikeouts of his own and no hits allowed. A base hit by Michael Gigliotti in the top of the fourth was the first hit for either side in the game. Gigliotti scored two batters later on a triple by Tevin Symonette. The Bisons increased the lead to 3-0 on a two-run homerun by Von Watson.

After Libscomb tacked on a fourth run in the fifth, DBU broke up Passantino's no-hit bid with a double off the bat of first baseman
Logan Sepanek. The Bisons extended the lead to 5-0 in the seventh inning, but the Patriots responded in the bottom half on a bases-loaded error by first baseman Cade Sorrells. On the following at-bat, reliever Dallas Gibson walked left fielder
Daniel Sweet, allowing catcher
Matt Duce to score.
David Martinelli capped off the three-run seventh with a long sacrifice fly to knock in
Camden Duzenack.

The Patriots turned the tables in the bottom of the eighth trailing 5-3 with two outs when Sorrells committed his second error of the game on a grounder by pinch hitter
Justin Wall, allowing three runs to score on the play.
